Inuyasha

A half dog, half demon Inuyasha is released from 50 years of sleeping by Kagome, a college student, when she steps back in time. This era contains loads of demons and they all want the Shikon no Tama, a crystal ball with endless power. Because of Kagome, the Shikon no Tama becomes breakes and is scattered all over the country. Inuyasha and Kagome then have to collect the pieces. Three more allies; Miroku, Shippo and Sango, have join them in the quest to find the dispersed Shikon no Tama.

Once I began to watch Inuyasha, I got addicted very quickly. There was an element of adventure, surprise and of course the sword fighting is great. You can't have a great anime without romance in it. The other two characters I find more interesting but are given crap appearances, Sesshoumaru and Kikyo. It's rare that anime series have love triangles where one guy loves both the other two very equally. It's great to see how he chooses over Kyoko and Kagome. Not to spoil anymore, Inuyasha is a great anime with all of the necessary ingredients present.
